With a total fund of 700.000 denars that it provided from its budget, the Municipality of Karposh started today the action for subsidizing the purchase of a new bicycle, electric scooter and electric bicycle. It will be subsidized up to 30 percent of the price for a new bicycle, that is, up to a maximum of 3.000 denars, as well as for the purchase of e-scooters and e-bikes up to 30 percent of the price or up to a maximum of 5.000 denars.

Every adult resident of the municipality, who will buy a new bicycle or electric scooter and electric bicycle starting today, March 21, is entitled to a subsidy. The action will last until the intended financial resources are exhausted, while the "first come, first served" principle will apply.

All those interested should submit several documents such as a request for a subsidy, a statement of consent to the processing of personal data, a photocopy of an ID card and of a transaction account and fiscal account for a purchased bicycle or electric bicycle and scooter no earlier than March 21.
As informed by Karposh, those citizens who have already received a subsidy from the City of Skopje for the current year do not have the right to participate.

After submitting the documents, in writing or electronically, the applicants will be notified in writing whether they will be beneficiaries of a subsidy.
