With the testimony of a witness proposed by the defense, the trial for the murder of Croatian handball player Denis Tot, who was beaten to death in front of a discotheque in Skopje's City Park, continued today in the Basic Criminal Court - Skopje.

At today's hearing, Martin Gjorgievski testified, who, together with the accused Angelo Gjorgievski, Klementina Levkovska and Andrej Kostovski, was out on the evening when the specific event took place.

- I know Angelo and Andrej because we live in the same neighborhood, in Volkovo. Now the deceased was my friend and we hung out with him more often, because we used to go out in the same bar, the bar is called "Dve Kapki" and that's how we met, five months before the event happened, we hung out there more often, he said.

As he said, the evening when the event took place, proceeded normally and without any argument.

- There were several outbursts, it happened, not to create a conflict, but in connection with attacking other girls, not to attack them, but to go non-stop to meet other girls, as was the case in the evening at the club, he said.

The witness indicated that he had emphasized several times to Dennis Toth that he had been drinking too much.

– I handed him the jacket so we could leave because we were sitting in the upper part, and he waited for a table with girls downstairs and there he was. I called him, he came, took his jacket, drank the last glass of ex. In the hall where the tickets are charged, we greeted each other and since we were all from Volkovo and we didn't have enough money to pay each other's taxis separately, and I had left my car in front of the "Dve Dropki" cafe, we agreed that we who are from Volkovo would go to my car with the taxi and transfer everyone from there, he said.

Martin Gjordjievski indicated that he got out first, saw a taxi in front of the door and got into it first.

– I was behind the passenger, then I think Angelo sat next to me in the middle, and Clementina entered from the left door. So that Victor could also sit, Clementina moved to Angelo's lap. Denis got into the taxi and we told him to get out, because we are waiting for a friend to get in, but he persistently got into the car and started to say insulting words to Clementina: "what do you want, you little bitch" and to Angelo: "you should shut up" . Angelo told him: "slow down, calm down", and Clementina emphasized: "get out, this is not the place for you". In that split second, some pushing started inside the taxi and there was an attack on Clementina and Angelo by Denis, said Martin Gjorgjievski.

Then, as he said, Angelo shouted "what are you doing to me" and that it all happened in less than a second. When he got out of the taxi, the now deceased Dennis Toth was already falling on his back and he immediately ran to separate them.

- It was a shock for me, however, Denis was my friend, every second, third day of the week we were together, he said.

The prosecution is prosecuting the defendants Angelo Gjorgievski, Klementina Levkovska and Andrej Kostovski for the crime of "murder" under Article 123 paragraph 1 in connection with Article 22 of the Criminal Code. According to the indictment, the defendants charge that on April 7, in front of a night club in the City Park in Skopje, they jointly deprived the injured Denis Tot of his life.

The trial is led by judge Elena Ilievska Josifović, and the representative of the prosecution is prosecutor Tanja Trajchevska.
