Prosecutor's Office: The causes of the accident in Kavadarci in which two builders died are being investigated

The reasons for the accident in Kavadarci in which two construction workers died are being investigated, the Public Prosecutor's Office informed this afternoon.

"The Public Prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Kavadarci conducted an on-site inspection at the location where this morning, during construction work, a crane broke loose, and two workers from Skopje lost their lives. One of the dead workers was 30 years old, and the other 50 years old. No other persons were injured in the accident. The public prosecutor issued orders for autopsies on the bodies of the deceased. The location is secured, and competent inspection services will carry out on-site supervision," the Prosecutor's Office announced.

From there, they indicated that in order to determine the causes of the accident, an order for an expert opinion will be issued, and in the meantime, the competent prosecutor's office collects verbal and material evidence for examining all the circumstances.
