- Short stories always cause admiration, especially short stories with short messages to the readers. Reading Mihajlovic's short stories, I experienced déjà vu, then I remembered that, in fact, they are part of life, intertwined with everyday events, about which the author writes.

The stories are written in the first person, there are characters from the environment, the neighborhood, fictional, extraordinary. With his gaze always directed upwards and in anticipation, Aleksandar Mihajlovic slowly but surely feels his creative pulse. He loves creativity to such an extent that he equates it with life and it becomes his muse and the meaning of his existence. That's why he returns to where he started, returns to the lyrical, poetic discourse and his short stories take on the tone of poetic outbursts.

His stories are plausible and relatable, affecting everyone and everything, least of all personal. The author Mihajlovic is a skillfully disguised voyeur who knows how to peer deep into the human soul, in search of closeness - wrote the poet Biljana Dejanovska about the short stories in the book "The Light of the World".
