Nutritionist Tanja Turundzieva: Do not be deceived, alcohol does not raise libido!

Following the nutrition guidelines and tips for women, we continue with a topic dedicated to men (exactly in their month - November), their habits, specifics and weaknesses, as well as a way to overcome them and introduce a healthy, balanced diet.

NUTRITION IN PUBLICITY AND ADOLESCENCE
The problem of excess weight is becoming more and more common among teenagers, during puberty and adolescence. But unlike girls their age, they find it much harder to make changes to their diet unless it is a health problem. When, however, they decide to change, they do it on their own, they do not starve, they do not improvise with diets, but simply, in addition to fast food, they insert sports activity in everyday life. In this case, their skin most often suffers, on which stretch marks appear due to the sudden increase or decrease of weight, and as a consequence of insufficient intake of fluids, fresh fruits and vegetables.
During this period of life, boys want to have a great male figure with good muscle mass and often undergo various preparations that contain artificial proteins, not educated enough about their consequences - everything that happens to their body and metabolism, kidneys and with the liver. To avoid such problems, you need proper guidance from parents, as well as consultation with a professional before starting diets or taking dietary supplements.

HORMONE REBELLION

During puberty, the tumultuous hormonal status is particularly pronounced, which makes boys more temperamental and more alert, but unlike girls, less prone to depression. They have frequent aggressions, outbursts, rebellion - all as a consequence of what they take into the body, aggression is made by certain nutrients they consume, especially fast food instead of fresh fruits and vegetables, caffeinated and alcoholic beverages instead fresh naturally squeezed juices.

FIRST LIBRID PROBLEMS
When a man enters the period of maturity, the state of hormones is very important, which directly affects the state of libido. Balance products such as cereals, turkey, fish and seafood, cucumber, brown rice, red berries and oranges should be consumed. Products that will negatively affect the hormonal balance are alcohol, sugars, saffron spice, salt, carbonated beverages and too much red meat. It is wrong to think that steak will increase libido or that alcohol will solve this problem, quite the opposite. There is a similar misconception about heat-treated nuts.
Unlike women, men are prone to fatty liver, diabetes and the more common occurrence of cardiovascular disease, which greatly affects libido - a problem that no one solves, because it is taboo. However, with proper professional help and establishing balance in the body, libido will improve and will have a better effect on both mental and physical basis.

IMPROVED FERTILITY IN MEN
Another problem that afflicts the male population is the quality of the sperm it produces and often, when pregnancy problems occur, the woman is the one who undergoes various examinations or hormone therapies without first examining the motility and quality of the sperm. It is necessary to know what the body needs to have good fertility. Vitamins A, C, E, B6, essential fatty acids (ingested through oils and nuts), the mineral zinc as particularly important for male fertility, selenium, manganese, l-arginine, l-carnitine, and chromium play a major role.
To contribute to the creation of better quality sperm, I will list a few nutrients that are essential for a man's body to relax and be balanced. These include bananas due to vitamin B6, sunflower seeds due to vitamin E and zinc, then watermelon due to provitamin A, fish that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and creates better sperm and a better cardiovascular system. Integral rice, the avocado that is known to address all hormonal disorders in both men and women. All the seeds I mentioned and nuts, green leafy vegetables - lettuce, arugula, chard, cabbage, spinach, including seaweed, although not specific to our region. Then, garlic and red berries, from which fresh cranberries stand out the most. Of the vegetables, celery plays an easier role for testosterone, as well as for sperm quality and erection.
But if someone needs stimulation, if he subconsciously thinks that he must drink alcohol - red wine can, but not more than three glasses. Red wine contains antioxidants, stimulates, speeds up blood circulation and at the same time protects blood vessels. When a man faces this problem he often gets depressed, but certain nutrients will help to increase serotonin, the hormone of happiness - these are turkey meat, mushrooms, tuna from fish, then, if you can not do without meat, from red beef, bananas, bungur (a type of wheat), if you can not do without cheese, then it should be mozzarella, instead of whole cheeses, celery, whole gluten-free flour from which lead holds, because it is great for increasing circulation.
