Newcomers disappointed by the neighbors of the City Wall

Residents of Novo Maalo, near which a three-storey building on the Holiday Inn parking lot is planned to be built, condemned the intention of their neighbors from the City Wall to sue over the announced construction. We convey their letter to the public in full:

"We, the residents of Novo Maalo, are completely disappointed with our fellow citizens, our neighbors who live in the City Wall, who have submitted an initiative to stop the construction of the Holiday Inn. They directly want to prevent us from solving our long-standing problem. It is extremely unscrupulous for those from the comfort of their homes, who by the way are also located in high towers, to initiate procedures by which we cannot realize our guaranteed right. We want to remind them that when their towers were built 50 years ago, they came to us to help them, took water and received support in every way.
This gesture of selfishness is for every condemnation. Their right is not violated in any way, but ours is. They will not be damaged in any way, but we can. We ask them to immediately withdraw from that initiative and show humanity and virtue.
Furthermore, we want to inform the public that we are currently collecting signatures for a petition that will be submitted to all relevant institutions on Monday. We have rights like all other citizens, and we have not been able to exercise them for more than 50 years. We have the right to live in normal conditions, just like those who rebel against us every day. "We will continue this battle to the end and with all possible means," reads the letter signed by a group of citizens, residents of Novo Maalo.
