After the great success of the film platform Netflix, the series "The Night Agent" ("The Night Agent") will get a second season Variety reported.

This action-thriller premiered a week ago on March 23, and quickly won over audiences who prefer the genre, making it into the top ten most watched content on Netflix.

And the second season will have 10 episodes.

"To receive this kind of feedback from viewers is a great joy for us and a great credit to our cast, our directors, writers and the entire team that worked on the show, as well as our partners at Sony Pictures Television and Netflix." We're very proud of the success and excited for the second season," said show creator Sean Ryan.

"We are thrilled that 'The Night Agent' is becoming an instant global sensation and can't wait to continue telling this story with our extraordinary cast," said Catherine Pope, president of Sony Pictures Television.

The Night Agent series is based on the book of the same name by author Matthew Kirk and follows the story of FBI agent Peter Starland.

The main characters are played by Gabriel Basso, Lucian Buchanan, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins and Eve Harlow.
