New cases of omicron confirmed in Britain
Two more cases of the omicron strain of the coronavirus have been detected in England, and two people were travelers from South Africa, health officials said today.
The Scottish Government said earlier today that it had detected six cases and that health authorities in England had previously confirmed three positive tests for the omicron variant over the weekend, bringing the total to 11 in the United Kingdom.
