South Korea has imposed new sanctions on neighboring North Korea for 10 individuals and two entities over North Korea's nuclear program and arms trade with three countries, including Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul said today.

On the list of Seoul's sanctions against Pyongyang, as indicated by the Ministry, North Korean Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam and former Chief of General Staff of the North Korean People's Army, Park Su-il, are recently found, Yonhap reports.

A total of 64 North Korean individuals and 53 agencies have been added to the sanctions list since South Korean President Yun Suk-yeol took office in May last year.
