The new series "The Sandman" on "Netflix" delighted the critics: This is a masterpiece
The new Netflix series titled "T" has delighted both critics and audiences, judging by the ratings on "IMDb" and "Rotten Tomatoes".
The Sandman hit the streaming platform on Friday and seems to have wowed critics and audiences alike. The series currently holds an 8,2 rating on IMDb, while it has a positive rating of 84% from critics and 88% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. The series is based on Neil Gaiman's comic book series, and focuses on the immortal embodiment of human dreams – Morpheus.

Netflix describes the series as "a rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly intertwined." They add that "The Sandman" follows the people and places influenced by Morpheus, the King of Dreams, as he corrects the cosmic and human mistakes he made throughout his existence.
This project costs an incredible 165 million dollars, and the main roles are interpreted by them Tom Sturridge like the dream Gwendoline Christie like lucifer Jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine, a Mark Hamill is the voice of the character Mervyn. The cast includes David Thewlis, Boyd Holbrooke, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Joely Richardson, Stephen Fry and other.

Critics consider the series worthy of the cult comic
Although critics disagree on the extent to which the series is a successful adaptation of the source material, as well as the quality of Sturridge's lead role, they agree that the series is worth watching. While there's obviously still room for a full adaptation of the material, the Netflix series has certainly justified its existence, especially in its final five episodes.

Viewers, judging by the reactions on social media, are equally enthralled with the series.
