New twist: Jokic leads again in the MVP race

However, the final decision will be made by journalists who will vote to choose the new MVP.

Denver's center has won MVP awards the past two seasons, while Embiid has never won MVP before.

This season Jokic is averaging 24.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 9.9 assists per game. Embiid averages 33.2 points and adds 10.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists.
