New, today's strongest earthquake on the Greek island of Evia - 4,9 degrees

A new earthquake with a magnitude of 4,9 on the Richter scale hit the Greek island of Evia tonight shortly after 22 p.m. local time, the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory in Athens announced.

The epicenter is the same one where three earthquakes between 4,1 and 4,7 degrees were registered early this morning.

The earthquake, apart from Evia, was also felt in the area of ​​Attica, the wider region of Athens, and so far there are no reports of injuries or material damage.

Three earthquakes of 6.30, 7.30 and 4,7 degrees according to Richter with an epicenter near Evia were registered this morning in the period from 4,1 to 4,2 am.
