By the end of the day it will be partly cloudy with occasional rain, there will be snow on the mountains and higher places, and rain and snow on the lower ones, informs from the Administration for Hydro-Meteorological Affairs (UMHR).

As they inform from there, there will be a strong northwesterly wind that will continue throughout the night when it will be strong in several places, over 80 kilometers per hour, and over 90 kilometers per hour in the mountains. This will cause a sudden and significant drop in temperature.

In the Skopje Valley, it will be partly cloudy with occasional light rain, which will change to snow in parts of the valley towards the end of the day and during the night. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the northwest direction, which will further intensify during the night.

Today until 16 pm on Popova Shapka the height of the snow cover was 64 centimeters, in Mavrovi Anovi 16, Lazaropole 13, Krushevo and Gjurishte 5, Berovo 4 and 2 centimeters in Kriva Palanka. The most rain fell in Kriva Palanka, 5 liters per square meter.

The low temperatures will remain in the coming days, on Monday instead the daily temperatures will be below zero.
