Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupчоo Nikolovski today, through an open letter, the president of VMRO - DPMNE calls them Hristijan Mickoski, the MPs from his party and the coalition, to enable the adoption of the nine laws that are in the parliamentary procedure and on which, as he points out, 20 families directly and indirectly depend.

Nikolovski emphasizes that the letter is not a political market, but an appeal for the need for reason and valorization of agricultural labor, and coming and staying in power, he said, should not be the only cause.

"If we continue the political (in) culture of irrational political battles on the backs of the citizens, their distrust and apathy will only grow. I think it is time to recognize the unifying points that will reduce the growing feeling among citizens that there is a single disunity in the country that is not rational at all from the position of a farmer waiting for his subsidy to start a new harvest and provide a decent income for himself. and family. In front of you are laws that in such global conditions and challenges must not, due to political disagreements, fall on the backs of farmers, said the Minister.

A period is coming, adds Nikolovski, in which the production of domestic food and products that will affect several production sectors will directly depend on the support of agriculture and farmers, as well as their labor.

He asked Mickoski and the opposition MPs to jointly help farmers for new crops, higher production and a more dignified life, to show that they are united around the most important and strategic priorities in this sector.

"I am addressing you as a minister whose primary task in this period of economic and energy crisis, and in the long run and potential food crisis is to solve the problems of farmers. I ask together to help these citizens of ours to prepare for new harvests, greater production and a more dignified life. I am convinced and that leads me in my work, that it does not benefit anyone if on the backs of our citizens the question is asked over and over again: "Who wins and who loses with the blockade of the Assembly?". The answer is crystal clear and we continuously as politicians get it from the citizens. "The message is clear, they are tired of listening to us in our quarrels and disagreements, so it is necessary to focus on quickly resolving the animal and existential priorities of farmers and all our fellow citizens, especially in times of such great world crises," said Nikolovski. .

According to him, politics must not be an obstacle for the citizens who have invested their labor in the fields, on the farm, in the field and who produce food.

"We have to anticipate the challenges that are coming in this area, which we will feel next year if we do not react in time. Like it or not, politics is part of our daily lives, but it must not become an obstacle for the citizens who have invested their labor in the fields, on the farm in the field, and who produce food. "Coming and staying in power should not be our only cause, for this there are democratic mechanisms that are generally known and established."

In the letter, the Minister reminded of the laws that are currently in the parliamentary procedure: the law on agriculture and rural development, the law on agriculture and rural development (shortened procedure) including its amendments, the law on the establishment of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development, amendments to Law on Tobacco, Tobacco Products and Related Products (abbreviated procedure), Law on Forests, Law on the State Inspectorate for Agriculture and Law on Forestry and Hunting Inspection and Law on Agricultural Land.
