The car in which the Chief of the Army General Staff, Lieutenant-Colonel General, was driving Vasko Gjurcinovski, yesterday caught fire while driving on the road in Kosovo, informed the General Staff.
The announcement says that General Gjurčinovski, who participated in the 25th Conference of Chiefs of General Staff of the Armies of the Adriatic Charter Member States, while returning through Kosovo, on the highway between Comoran and Pristina in the late afternoon, a fire suddenly broke out in the car's engine. , but thanks to the quick intervention of the driver and security, the fire was extinguished in a very short time.
General Gjurchinovski, together with the members of the delegation and security, continued their journey with the other vehicles and returned home.
"Immediately after the first sign of ignition, the vehicle was safely removed from traffic, and after extinguishing it, it was transported to the Republic of North Macedonia", states the statement of the General Administration of the Republic of Macedonia.
