Ngolo Kante from year to year shows that besides being a great footballer, he is a wonderful and modest person who is adored by all his teammates wherever he played. ТHe is a favorite of the fans precisely because of his modesty but also the image that does not look like any football star in modern football.

Chelsea managed to write new pages in the club's history last night, defeated Real Madrid with 2: 0 in the second leg of the semi-final match in the Champions League and scheduled a battle for the trophy with Manchester City.

Most deserving of the victory was the French national team player Ngolo Cante who was named player of the match, was simply present in all parts of the field and completely stopped the midfield of Real Madrid. Chelsea fans jokingly said that Kante had managed to clone himself and that he could be teleported to any part of the pitch.

But all these praises that are fully deserved, go at the expense of the most modest man in world football, and perhaps in sports in general. This could be seen after the match when his teammates were leaving Stamford Bridge in their expensive cars worth several hundred thousand euros, while Kante went home to the Mini Cooper. This vehicle is worth only 20.000 euros, an amount that the footballer earns in one day.

- I played in Leicester and it was my first car in England. One person advised me to buy a Mini Cooper, I liked it and still drive it - Kante once told the BBC.

His modesty makes him a favorite with all his teammates, and because of his constitution and style of play, he resembles another former French national team player and Chelsea player, Claude Makelele.
- I expect more from Kante because he can be better than me. He has to communicate more with the defenders, he can even become the leader of the team. I know that Kante is shy, that he never talks and wants to do just his job, but I think he can do more - said Makelele two months ago, and from that moment on Cante became the true leader of the team led by Thomas Tuchel.

There is another proof of his modesty and shyness, in 2018 when France triumphs at the World Cup, KAnte was too shy to ask if he could take a picture with the goblet. He did so after being encouraged by Stephen Nzonzi.

And that the quiet Kante is a favorite of his teammates, the proof is the video from the locker room where it is seen how his teammates celebrate Kante after the victory over Croatia in the World Cup final.

A new proof that the Frenchman, although a football star, still remained firmly on the ground is the event that took place in a mosque. Kante met a fan in the mosque and then went to him for dinner.
"When my friend's younger brother met Kante in the mosque during evening prayers, he decided to invite him to dinner. "How modest Kante is," the fan's brother wrote on Twitter.
It was later reported that they ate curry, watched a football show and played video games, after which Kante left home.

However, Kante's football beginnings were not so bright, attractive because several teams refused to sign a contract with him before he got a chance in the lower league Boulogne.. Even in those days, the football player himself did not believe that he would become a professional.
- I was in the second team of Boulogne that played in the sixth, then in the fifth league. I was not a professional footballer and because of that I continued my studies because I was not sure that I would be able to survive as a footballer. When I was 18 I passed the entrance exam and then I studied accounting for two years. When I joined the first team, I stopped studying. "I have qualifications as an accountant, but I prefer to think about football," Cante said in the past.

Ngolo Kante shows how modest he is in his statement on the official website of Chelsea.
- I play football and I consider myself a football player. I do not want people to pay too much attention to what I am out of football, what I do and ask myself: Who is Ngolo? Look at me as a footballer, ask me about football, not about it outside of it. I just want to be a footballer. If I win it is ok, if I lose it is ok again, but I always do my best in every match. It is not because I am good or something like that, but I am who I am - said Kante.

Such modesty is almost unbelievable in the world of football, especially if we know that he has two trophies in the Premier League in his career, the World Cup, the FA Cup and a trophy in the Europa League.
