The increased body weight among the youth, as well as the polluted air in Skopje and other places in the country are factors that affect the mortality from covid-19, said Dr. Niko Bekarovski from the Toxicology Clinic in tonight's guest appearance on "Kanal 5" television.

"The unhealthy life of young people carries its own risk. We have extremely fat new generations with increased body weight. The polluted air we breathe, Macedonia has been among the most polluted countries in the world for years. "It all causes the respiratory system to be constantly exposed to toxins," he said.

Dr. Bekarovski points out that a large part of the population can not afford to be tested for every cough, because PCR tests are not free.

"Public health cannot deliver enough tests to citizens. What happened to our health in the background or in the background in 30 years, is now coming back to us. In my opinion, every health center should test 24 hours a week. This is how the whole influx of the city comes to the Clinics, more precisely Toxicology ", thinks Bekarovski.
