Unvaccinated tennis players can play at the "Australian Open" ?!
Unvaccinated tennis players will be eligible to participate in next year's Australian Open Grand Slam, provided they pass a 14-day quarantine.
This was announced by the media in the United States, citing a message sent by the Women's Tennis Association WTA to the athletes.
The two-dose vaccinated will be able to be part of the Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne, without quarantine and without being placed in a "balloon".
But there are many ATP and WTA competitors who are not vaccinated, including Novak Djokovic, the world's best tennis player.
Victoria's Secretary of State Martin Pakula, says that no official decision has been made yet on whether unvaccinated foreign players will be allowed in the country.
- There will be no final decision in the next few weeks - said Pakula.
