Unvaccinated Greeks who will not schedule an appointment for vaccination with the first dose of the vaccine until January 16, 2022, will pay an administrative fine of 100 euros every month, is the new measure for the unvaccinated in Greece announced today by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and introducing mandatory vaccination for the specific age group, said the MIA correspondent from Athens.
Mitsotakis explained that the money, legally, will go to a special fund that will fund hospitals and stressed that it is not about punishment, but about protection.
Additionally, it announced free home use tests for those vaccinated on the eve of the Christmas holidays.
