Netflix canceled the animated series "Pearl", whose creator he is Megan Markle, writes Six.

The series has been in its infancy for a long time, and was supposed to show the fantasy and history through the adventures of a 12-year-old girl in everyday life challenges. Netflix is said to have canceled the series due to budget cuts and a sharp drop in subscribers.

The executive producer of the series was the husband of Elton John, David Furnish.

Netflix has done the same with a number of other animated projects that have not met their deadlines and are still at an early stage. The producers were told to try to showcase their projects on other streaming platforms.

Many were convinced that Megan wanted to show her childhood with the animated series "Pearl". Namely, the name Meghan comes from Wales, where Megan is traditionally written, but originally from the Greek name Margaret, derived from the word (margaritēs), which means pearl.
