Croatian television NOVA announced that their editor and political commentator Mislav Bago died suddenly at the age of 48. He was found dead in the morning, and there is no official information on the cause of death.
"His untimely departure is a great loss for us. He was a favorite colleague, always ready to help. He left an indelible mark in journalism. We admire his passion for the journalistic profession, always with a new idea, always one step ahead", says the director of the News program of Nova TV, Ksenia Kadrum.
Mislav Bago with his specific style and journalistic expression was known and respected by the Macedonian television audience. It is commented on social networks that precisely because of his non-uniformity in the otherwise strict profession, he grows into a character that becomes part of pop culture.
He begins his professional engagement at HTV, where he reaches his peak as the host of the "Otvoreno" show. Since 2009, he has been an editor and journalist at NOVA TV.
He is the winner of numerous awards, including the one for Journalist of the Year in 2006 for the series of interviews with former prime ministers Ivo Sanader and Ivica Racan.
