Profile of the late American actor Matthew Perry е target of hackers. The target of the hacker attack appears to have been the foundation, which was founded in honor of the "Friends" star, as a donation link displayed at the top of the social network's page redirected donors to a fake page that collects donations via cryptocurrency, it says "Sky News".

The Matthew Perry Foundation's Instagram profile posted: “We have been informed that Matthew's official X page has been hacked and is redirecting users to a fake page that collects donations via cryptocurrency.

Please do not donate through this page and do not share fake posts on social media. The only website associated with the Foundation is '', which means we only receive donations through it."

“This is the only official Matthew Perry Foundation Instagram account and we only post official information. Therefore, please report the fake accounts and do not send donations through any channel other than #MatthewPerry,” it warned.

In December, Perry's death was ruled an accident due to an "acute effect of ketamine consumption." The actor, best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the hit US comedy Friends, was found dead in his apartment on October 28.
