An unexploded grenade found in a field in the Ohrid region originating from the First World War

An unexploded grenade was found in a field in the Ohrid village of Leskoec. According to the information of the Ministry of Interior, yesterday, at 17 pm, the police reported that a grenade was found in a field in the Ohrid village of Leskoec.

The inspection concluded that it was an unexploded artillery shell with a caliber of 55 mm, which originates from the period of the First World War.

The grenade was safely picked up by an expert from the Crisis Management Center.
