Before the elections, politicians tell fairy tales. The only question is who is left to believe in them? Obviously only Filipce and the team around him.

We have shown what good crisis management means, we have shown what teamwork means, we have shown what sacrificial work means, we have shown that citizens can feel safe, we have shown what political responsibility means.

These are the words of the Minister of Health Venko Filipce expressed at one of the tribunes within the campaign for the upcoming local elections.

Sounds like a fairy tale to you? Sure. Before the elections, politicians tell fairy tales. The only question is who is left to believe in them? Obviously only Filipce and the team around him.

What kind of health crisis management and what sense of security is the minister talking about? If you think of managing at the beginning of the crisis when there were barely 40 people sick a day - yes, that's right. The crisis was successfully managed in those months. But what about the months when the second wave of the corona crisis hit us? Those months when thousands of citizens did not know which end to take. There was no room in the hospitals anywhere, only for those with thick connections. There were no medicines in the pharmacies, clexani and fraxiparines were sought under wood and under stone. Not to mention immunity boosting supplements that have become almost twice as expensive overnight. Those who could not find a place in state hospitals were left at the mercy of private hospitals, which screamed at citizens without blinking an eye. And why should they blink, when exactly Minister Filipce allowed them to profit in this crisis. And private laboratories also made good money, because the corona test could not be done in the state. Or you may have to wait a week to get to the hospital until you find out you are infected.

What kind of security is Filipce talking about, when many of the family doctors (with the honor of the exceptions) put a key on their surgeries, and the citizens had no one to examine them, so even today they seek advice on social networks. Doctors were left without treatment guidelines and protocols. Both they and the citizens were left alone. To heal and heal guided by their own instincts. All this placed Macedonia in the top-five list of countries in the world according to those who died from coronavirus. Is this successful health crisis management? Will anyone take responsibility for this?

And what about the vaccines that the doctors and Minister Filipce trumpet every day that are the only protection against the coronavirus? Macedonia is the last in the region to procure vaccines. We do not count here the donations from Serbia, thanks to which we managed in the first place to protect the doctors and the employees from the critical infrastructure. Due to the lack of vaccines, citizens were forced to seek the charm in Serbia. Thousands of Macedonians, at their own expense, in the midst of the biggest economic crisis, went to Tabanovce to protect themselves and their families. To be vaccinated against coronavirus in a foreign country. What do we pay for health insurance for? To be treated in private hospitals for 15 thousand euros and to be vaccinated in other countries? Is this the success of Filipce?

There are no vaccines again and we hear the statements of the minister again, they will arrive today, they will arrive tomorrow, they will come by the end of the month. The Indian strain of the virus is increasingly threatening to attack us in the fall. And what does the state do? Nothing literally. There is no strategy, there are no vaccines. It hangs in the air. The citizens will be left alone, with the prayers not to get sick, because who knows how they will end. That is your security, Minister.
