The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the semi-finals of "Roland Garros" where he will meet the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic.

In a match that was considered to be the derby at the quarter-final stage, the Spaniard literally wiped out the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas with 3:0 in sets 6:2, 6:1, 7:6.

From start to finish it was a real lesson in tennis from the world number one who broke Tsitsipas' completely helpless serve five times and allowed him just five games.

And then with a score of 5:2 in the third set, the Spaniard missed two match points, and then Tsitsipas uses the first break point in the next game and returns to the match.

The score was 5:5 and the set went to a "tie-break" in which Alcaraz did better and decided in his favor with a score of 7:5, with one mini break.

The new spectacle between Djokovic and Alcaraz will be a kind of "final before the final", and according to many, the winner of this duel will likely be the winner in Paris.

The match is scheduled for Friday when the two semi-finals of Roland Garros will be played in the men's competition.

We will find out about the second semi-final on Wednesday after the remaining two quarter-final matches: Alexander Zverev (Germany) – Tomas Martin Echeverri (Argentina) and Holger Rune (Denmark) – Kasper Ruud (Norway).
