Greek authorities have launched an urgent administrative investigation following allegations of inappropriate behavior by a physical education teacher at a secondary vocational school on the island of Evia, near Athens, who allegedly asked students to massage him.

According to the allegations, during a lesson on ancient Greek massage techniques, he allegedly asked students to massage his back, writes "Kathimerini".

The case gained public attention after a photo appeared on social media showing the teacher lying half-naked on a massage table.

The photo sparked public condemnation and was soon removed from the platform.

The authorities from the Directorate of Secondary Education and the Ministry of Education were immediately notified of the case, which resulted in an immediate reaction and the initiation of an investigation.
