A teacher at a primary school in Maribor was handed a decision to terminate her employment because she refused to ce test or yes ce vaccinated against Covid-19, which is the first such case after the Slovenian Government tightened anti-epidemic measures, Slovenian media write.

The teacher from the beginning of the school year was temporarily banned from work because she refused to ce test once a week and wear a mask in the classroom, which is an obligation prescribed by the Ministry of Education. She is now fired.

She has the right to appeal the decision to terminate her employment within two weeks.

According to local media, the teacher was active in an anti-vaccination group, which recently stormed an information studio, demanding an end to the "propaganda" of the government's vaccination campaign, and in a Facebook video persuaded parents not to send their children to "regime and fascist schools.
