Coming soon on Netflix: Documentary series about Harry and Megan's family life
Netflix will release a documentary series in collaboration with the prince Harry and Megan Markle in the style of "home with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex," he reveals Page Six.
Hollywood insiders are excited about the show, but while Netflix bosses would like the series to be released by the end of the year to fit in with Harry's expected memoirs, Sussex would prefer it to air next year.
"Timing is still being discussed, things are in the air," said one well-known producer.
The Sussex, who signed a multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming service in 2020 after moving to the United States, were monitored by cameras last month in the Netherlands at the Invictus Games - Harry's global games for wounded and wounded soldiers. Netflix is making a documentary about the event called "Heart of Invictus".
But the documentary is overshadowed by another project that will be much pointed out. The cameras were allowed to film at their home in Montecito, California, and joined the dukes on their trip to New York last September.
"I think it's fair to say that Netflix is gaining a pound of meat," a senior Hollywood insider told Page Six.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
