The group of eight Macedonian citizens who were in the Turkish region affected by the devastating earthquake, are high school students, students from the Technical School in Gostivar, who are from the city, from Tetovo and from Mavrovo-Rostuše. They and a mentor, through the "Erasmus +" program, stayed in the city of Kahraman Marash, one of the most affected in today's disaster.

"From what I could find out today, we are talking about students from schools in Western Macedonia, that is, from the municipalities of Gostivar, Mavrovo and Rostushe. I really couldn't find out which NGO from Gostivar is running the project. Throughout the day, like you, I try to find out as much information as possible, how are the children in Turkey, but also how their families survive these difficult moments here, says Marko Georgievski, director of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility," he told "Alfa" TV Marko Georgievski, the director of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility.
