'Our future is secured': Members of the band Metallica bought a factory
The American heavy metal band "Metallica" has become the owner of "Furness Record Pressing", a record production plant in Virginia, which has been producing records for "Metallica" for 15 years, reports the American music magazine "Billboard".
The band members decided on this step, among other things, because it turned out that their annual sales in the United States, for the first time since 1987, exceeded the sales of CDs.

During supply chain problems and production delays, the factory helped Metallica keep most of its albums in stock.
"It's really exciting to know that our long-term future is secured while we can better take advantage of growth opportunities," said company founder and CEO Eric Astor.
