The coldest on Popova Shapka, the most snow in Mavrovi Anovi

The lowest temperature in the country this morning was measured in Popova Sapka -9 and in Mavrovi Anovi -7. -3 were measured in Krushevo, -1 in Pretor, Berovo and Ohrid, and zero degrees in Kriva Palanka, Tetovo, Prilep, Bitola, Skopje-Petrovec. Elsewhere, it is above zero everywhere, and maximum 4 degrees were measured in Dojran and Gevgelija, said the HMS.

In Mavrovi Anovi, the most snow fell 61 centimeters, in Krushevo the snow cover is 56, in Gjurishte 36, in Pozarane 34, and in Bitola 7 centimeters.

The most rain in the past 24 hours fell in Dojran 7 liters per square meter, then in Tetovo 6, Stip and Pozarane 5, and the least in Skopje - Petrovec, Popova Sapka, Bitola and Prilep - 1 liter.

The rains stopped in the evening, and during the night there was a significant cloudy weather, quiet and not very cold. During the night, fog appeared in the eastern part of Skopje, and fog is present this morning in higher places from the low clouds. There is light rain this morning in Demir Kapija and Skopje - Petrovec.

The weather today will be variable cloudy and cold, mainly in the western parts and in the extreme southeast with precipitation mostly of snow. A moderate, occasionally stronger wind from the north will blow along the Povardarie. The maximum temperature will reach 3 to 10 degrees.

In Skopje it will be partly cloudy with conditions for short-term rain that will occasionally turn into snow. The maximum temperature will reach 4 degrees.
