NBA commissioner Adam Silver has announced in the last two years that the strongest basketball league will expand, and the last to show interest is the most famous basketball club in the world, the Harlem Globetrotters.
The legendary club has existed since 1926 and is known for its exhibition matches, it has played about 26.000 matches in 124 countries in the world, and among them is Macedonia.
Although Harlem is known for show games, the team believes that they can gather a good enough team that could play in the NBA league.
"In terms of what we have done and our popularity and recognition, as well as the number of professionals who have played for us, we think we deserve a chance. "And that immediately," reads part of a letter from Harlem to Commissioner Silver.
