At least 52 people have been killed in riots at an Ecuadorian prison

At least 52 people have been killed in riots and clashes at a prison in the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil, local media reported.
The riot in the prison started last night, and the police have not yet announced whether they managed to restore order.
Clashes between members of various gangs in the same prison on September 28 killed 119 convicts. A two-month state of emergency has been declared in Ecuadorian prisons.
