After the convincing defeat in the first control match (59:81), in the second friendly match against Montenegro, the best Macedonian national team celebrated with 65:58 in SC "Jane Sandanski" - Skopje.

The Montenegrins had a better start to the second test between these two teams, in the first quarter they made a double-digit advantage of 12 points (20: 8).

Things for our national team started to go in a good direction at the beginning of the second period of the game, with a series of 19: 4 we made a result reversal.

The players led by the Macedonian coach Dragan Bajic took the lead with 27:24. In those 15 minutes, we had 40% of the realization in the shot for three points (4/10). Two minutes later we had the highest (34:27). And we finished the great second quarter in which we scored 30 points with an advantage of (38:31). Jacob Wiley hit all five attempts from the field, he had 10 points.

In the second half, the two national teams "exchanged" for a quarter. Montenegro realized the third period in its favor with (17:11) enough to get closer to an equal result. After three played quarters, Macedonia led minimally (49:48).

In that last period, we played really well in defense. We allowed the Montenegrins to score only six points in eight and a half minutes. Enough to have an advantage of (61:54).

Apart from Wiley, in the second half, Mekic (12) and Magdevski (10 points) also reached a double-digit effect. After the realization of Wiley (his 15 points), we had a plus of nine points (63:54). Unattainable for the opponent, and a big plus for our senior team in anticipation of the continuation of the preparations for the pre-qualification for the 2023 World Cup. Lason Zekiri and Valmir Kakruki were not in the official minutes of our selection for this match.
