The mayor of the municipality of Zelino announced through social media that the body of Erdon Ramadani, the 22-year-old boy who ran off the Tetovo-Skopje highway on September 27, was found in the Vardar river this morning. Young Erdon drove a Volkswagen Golf off the highway lane near the bridge that crosses the Vardar River near Želino.

– The young man from Kumanovo was found in the Vardar river. Thanks to all the rescue teams who contributed during all these days. Deep condolences to the family - Blerim Seidui, the mayor of Želino, said through the social network.

The Tetovo police confirmed that a body was found in the Vardar river, but the official identification has not been carried out. Police officers from SVR Tetovo found the body.

- At 10:40 a lifeless body of a man was found in the immediate vicinity of the Erebino barracks, next to the second concrete bridge. The body should soon be recovered from the water and an official identification made. A doctor from Forensic Medicine and a public prosecutor have been summoned - informs Marjan Josifoski, spokesperson of SVR Tetovo.

In recent days, representatives of several institutions participated in the search for the young man from Kumanovo, and divers and search dogs were involved.
