Over 3.500 Bitola farmers will receive cards for the so-called green oil
The regional unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management informs that the cards for green oil have arrived at the regional unit of the ministry in Bitola and from tomorrow over 3.500 farmers will be able to pick them up.
The PE of the Ministry of Education and Culture clarifies that the financial support of the oil card depends on the size of the areas and agricultural crops for which the farmers applied for subsidies in 2021.
- For wheat, barley, corn, rye, oats, rice, triticale, buckwheat, sorghum and millet, the support amounts to 1.413 denars per hectare, for hops, flax, lentils, peanuts, soybeans, sunflower, oilseed beet, fodder beet, poppy, sugar beet, cotton, graor, asparagus, field peas and chickpeas and alfalfa support amounts to 2.119 denars per hectare, while for tomatoes, peppers, watermelons, melons, pumpkins, beans, green beans, peas, arugula, potatoes, cucumbers, gherkins , cabbage, kale, onion, garlic, leek, zucchini, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, eggplant, carrot, celery, beetroot, parsnip, asparagus, radishes, flowers, cultivated medicinal, aromatic and spicy plants as well as vines plantings, the support amounts to 4.238 denars per hectare, informs the PE of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science with headquarters in Bitola.
Cards for the use of green oil will also be given to fruit growers, i.e. producers of apple, pear, plum, peach, sour cherry, apricot, cherry, outdoor strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry, and the support amounts to 5.273 denars per hectare.
For quince, medlar, actinidia, olive, pomegranate, Japanese apple, fig, chokeberry, spike, currant, goji berry, almond and hazelnut, the support is 3.766 denars per hectare, and for walnuts and sweet chestnuts, the support is 2.636 denars per hectare.
With this measure, at this moment in the Pelagonia region, from the three municipalities of Bitola, Mogila and Novaci, over 3 farmers are beneficiaries, indicated the PE of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
