More than 15.740 children have died in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the current escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in early October 2023, the press service of the enclave's government said.

Thus, according to the authorities in Gaza, during this period at least 15.747 children, 10.406 women, 498 medical personnel and 151 journalists died in the enclave, reported TASS. 

Gaza's Ministry of Health said earlier that the total number of dead among Palestinians rose to 37.347, and another 85.372 people were wounded.
