At Tabanovce and Bogorodica, the wait for entry and exit is one hour

To enter the country at the Tabanovce border crossing and to exit at the Bogorodica border crossing, the wait is about an hour. All facilities have been put into operation to speed up the flow of passengers, according to the Ministry of Interior.

This weekend, over 26.000 passengers entered Tabanovce, and over 22.000 passengers left Bogorodica.

- On the exit from the Republic of North Macedonia, the waiting time is about one hour at GP Bogorodica, and about 45 minutes at GP Star Dojran. There are five exit lanes on GP Bogorodica, and two on GP Dojran. There are five entry lanes operating on GP Tabanovce. The wait for entering the country is about an hour. The Ministry of the Interior is taking all measures and all the human and technical facilities have been put into operation to speed up the flow of passengers, of course by implementing the mandatory border checks, the Ministry of the Interior told MIA.

This weekend, from July 19 to 21 of this year, 22.715 passengers left GP Bogorodica. 26.063 passengers entered the country at the Tabanovce GP this weekend. At this border crossing, today, from midnight until now, 3.245 passengers have registered for entry.

According to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from January 1 of this year to July 15 of last year, the number of passengers leaving the country at GP Bogorodica was 724.840, and for the same period (January 1 to July 15 of this year), the number of passengers leaving the Republic of North Macedonia at GP Bogorodica was 750.812, which means there is an increase of about 25.000 compared to last year.
