The latest developments in the negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia were the main topic of conversation at today's meeting of the Albanian president
Bajram Begaj and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Begaj announced on Facebook.

As stated in the announcement, he highly appreciated the vigilance and courage shown by Prime Minister Kurti and the negotiating team of the Republic of Kosovo for accepting the European plan, as well as for its signing and implementation.

- I emphasized that the public consent and commitment of the parties to the implementation of the European plan for the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia and the corresponding annex, as its integral part, is another guarantee for peace, stability, as well as the future of the countries of the region in the European Union, states Begaj.

He also points out that he expressed confidence that the commitment expressed by the parties in Ohrid will be fully respected and "appropriate mechanisms will be found to turn this public agreement into an internationally binding and applicable agreement for the parties".

During his stay in Tirana, Kurti will also meet the Speaker of the Parliament Lindita Nikola and Prime Minister Edi Rama, with whom a working lunch is planned.
