Guests from the neighborhood will perform at the Skupi Camerfest International Music Festival
As part of the fourth edition of the International Festival of Classical Chamber Music "Skupi Camerfest" on September 20 in the small hall of the National Philharmonic will be held a concert entitled "Balkan Art Stage".
The concert will feature works by composers Franz Schubert - Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667, "Trout", and Tchaikovsky - Souvenir from Florence, op. 70, and will perform Sihana Badivuku - violin, Vladimir Markovic - violin (Republic of Serbia), Marko Pop Ristov - violin, Miltiadis Casaras - cello (Greece), Mario Guralumi - cello (Republic of Albania), Blerim Grubi - viola, Stefanija Janko - viola (Republic of Bulgaria), Fraim Gashi - cello (Republic of Kosovo) and Dino Imeri - piano.
- In this storm caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we want to alleviate the general human condition through the sound of music and popular works by Schubert and Tchaikovsky. As hosts, we decided to invite musicians from our neighborhood, ie from the five countries that surround us and will host music artists from Belgrade, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Pristina and Tirana - explained the artistic director of the festival, prof. Blerim Grubi.
