Belgrade raft "Freestyler" started sinking on New Year's Eve a few minutes after midnight, and as Serbian "Blitz" learned, at the moment when the water started to "swallow" the raft, there were more than 700 people on it, although the raft was registered for 220.
As "Blitz" writes, the complete documentation has been submerged, and the video surveillance is also unusable. Everything ended up under water.
As part of the pre-criminal procedure, an expert examination will be carried out with the aim of preliminary determination of the reason for the sinking of the raft.
The prosecutor's office and the police are undertaking all other activities that should contribute to establishing all the circumstances of the incident in which fortunately there were no victims.
