Postal parcels were smuggled on "Blace", the Customs will intensify control

"The Customs Administration is establishing enhanced control at the Blace border crossing in order to prevent attempts to smuggle postal shipments" - this was said at today's meeting of the director of the Customs Administration, Boban Nikolovski, with the general director of Macedonian Post, Orhan Kurtishi.

"In two cases, attempts to smuggle large parcels by express mail were prevented. We have moved towards the complete eradication of such efforts. But we will go with strengthened controls at the border crossing," Nikolovski said.

Both sides agreed to advance cooperation.

According to the announcement, the Customs Administration acts in accordance with its powers in the direction of facilitating legal trade and detecting crime.
