The basketball players of MZT Skopje Aerodrom will have a hell of a start to the season in The ABA League, where they are returning after a four-year absence, since in the first two rounds they will have teams from the Euroleague as their opponents.

Today's draw wanted the "storks" in the opening of the regional league to visit the Red Star, the current winner and long-time participant in the strongest European competition. And to make things even more difficult, the fact that they will play the first match at home with partisan, the second Serbian giant and the most trophy-winning team in ABA.

It will be a great chance for the Macedonian sports public to see live the most trophy-winning European coach, Željko Obradović, but it will also be an opportunity for the "blue and whites" to show the strong opponent that they are not by chance back in the company of the best on the Adriatic.

MZT has so far provided the services of Damjan Stojanovski, Bojan Krstevski, Adem Mekic and Damjan Robev from the Macedonian national team, as well as the Americans Bre Ivey, Mike Caffey and Evan Maxwell, together with the Serbian international Strahinja Micovic.
