The multimedia project "Longing for Light" will have a presentation at MANU

At the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts - MANU on October 5, at 19 p.m., the multimedia project "Longing for Light" by the authors Boro Rudić and Ferid Muhić will be presented, which includes a photo exhibition, promotion of a photo monograph with text by Ferid Muhić , as well as an audiovisual recording.

- "Longing for light" is a multimedia project inspired by the universal aspiration of man to get out of the darkness to reach the light, to replace the darkness of loneliness with the light of friendship, to rise from the dark glib of hatred to the bright fields of love, to leave the blackness of darkness and hopelessness behind, led by the dream of the light of joy and freedom.

Because just as, according to the biblical motif, the dark abysses of the primordial Void became the World only after there was Light: "Be! And there was light!" - so the helpless blind creature became a Man only after the light of knowledge, virtue and faith shone in his spirit and illuminated his soul - reads the announcement of the event.

The eternal odyssey fueled by the longing for light, as the deepest motive of the entire history of humanity and the life of every person, the authors Boro Rudić - master of artistic photography and academician Ferid Muhić, sublimated it with artistic virtuosity into an original work of art, realized in simultaneous synergy of visual, poetic and musical media, in the textual part presented bilingually, in Macedonian and in Bosnian.
