MLSP: Extraordinary inspection in the kindergarten where children are played inappropriate music

While distributing lunch to the children in the group, the defendant hit the child on the head with a metal tablespoon, inflicting bodily injury - a bruise on the scalp.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy decided to conduct an extraordinary inspection in a kindergarten in Skopje's Karposh after Sloboden Pecat published a video of children being encouraged by an educator to "have fun" with Serbian turbo folk music.

- Regarding the information that was published in Free Press portal, that in a kindergarten in the Municipality of Karpos, inappropriate music is played to children, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy informs the public that it will immediately send an extraordinary inspection to the appropriate institution for care and education of children, said the MLSP.

From there they emphasize that the public institutions for care and upbringing of children work on the basis of the Program for early learning and development which the educational-care staff is obliged to implement.

- The competent inspection services will determine the factual situation regarding the implementation of the Program, after which they will propose appropriate measures, said the MLSP, reacting quickly after the announcement of "Free Press".
