After the meeting between SONK and MLSP The Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska stated that they are approaching a final solution from which both parties will be satisfied.

- We had a great constructive discussion. We discussed several solutions offered and came to a convergence of views regarding the dispute between SONK and MLSP. I hope that by the end of the week we will have a final decision regarding the payment of teachers' per diems during the strike. It will be within the law and in the interest of all parties, said Minister Trencevska.

Jakim Nedelkov from SONK said that tomorrow the deadline for finding a joint solution with the Ministry of Education and Science expires and that it is possible for the strike to continue if they do not agree on a higher salary for teachers.

- If we do not find an acceptable solution, we will continue the strike, but we hope that it will not happen. We hope that the salaries of all employees in the kindergartens that participated in the strike will be paid. Negotiations with the MES are also coming to an end, with working groups from both ministries. Collective agreements will be signed within an appropriate framework, Nedelkov said.

A meeting at the Ministry of Education and Science between Minister Jeton Shaqiri and Jakim Nedelkov is scheduled for 16.30 pm, led by an authorized conciliator.
