"The situation in Kosovo is alarming, a big explosion could happen in the center of Europe," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters in Kenya.

- They violated all the principles of the Helsinki Charter and other OSCE documents. The situation is alarming, but the West has followed the path of total subjugation to anyone who expresses his opinion in any way, Lavrov stressed, reports RTS.

A large number of KFOR members with equipment to break up demonstrations were deployed from this morning near the municipal buildings in Zvečan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok, in the north of Kosovo, where residents of Serbian nationality gathered. According to KFOR, the Serbs attacked the soldiers unprovoked, who responded to the attacks with rubber bullets and stun grenades. 25 members of KFOR were injured.

On the other hand, the Serbian media from Kosovo reported about at least 50 injured citizens, one of whom is fighting for his life, and that some of them were not hit by rubber bullets, but had wounds from live ammunition, i.e. from firearms.

The international community, the USA and the EU, ordered an immediate end to the violence and to calm the tensions in Kosovo.
