The monograph "Dear Teacher" by Sonja Andonov was promoted in Tetovo

The promotion of the monograph "Dear Teacher" by Sonja Andonov was held on June 21 at DMU "Todor Skalovski-Tetoec" in Tetovo. The day when summer begins on the calendar and is declared World Music Day was not chosen by chance for the promotion of the book, because it is a monograph about a person whose voice, look and smile spread a melodious melody, a person who for many generations of children, now already adults, instilled in them a love for music.

The author Sonja Andonov writes in the monograph about the character and pedagogical activity of the teacher Anche Bojadzieva Gerasimovska. The book also traces the musical life in Tetovo during the 20th century.

The first part of the monograph is dedicated to Gligor Bojadziev, the father of Anche Bojadzieva Gerasimovska, who was a barber from Tetovo, but also a great connoisseur of music.

The second part of the book describes the life path of teacher Anche, schooling in Skopje and Belgrade, as well as her teaching activity in Tetovo, while the third part of the monograph records the memories of her former students about her teacher.

(The text was published in "Cultural Press" No. 86, in the print edition of "Free Press" on June 26-27, 2021)
