Dedicated payment cards intended for subsidized student meals have so far been picked up by about 60 percent of eligible students. The Ministry of Education and Science reminds the rest of the students who have not yet taken their payment cards to do so soon.

To collect the card, students need to register on Sparkasse Bank's active online platform and update their details on the following link. Through an SMS message, students will receive information about the exact time and place for signing an agreement for opening a separate account and for picking up the dedicated student Visa card for a subsidized meal.

They will be able to use the funds in the amount of 140 denars per day from Monday to Saturday, to buy food in markets, bakeries, restaurants and other legal entities that produce, prepare or sell food.

The Ministry of Education and Science reminds that applying for this right for candidates who will acquire the status of students in the academic year 2023/2024 and who have not enrolled in the summer semester, lasts from September 27 to October 2, 2023. Any applicant who needs immediate support when applying can contact the following contact: [email protected] or in the dedicated office on the ground floor of the ministry building.
