Professional professors from Mathematical-informatics high school will return to teaching, and the students will make up for the lost hours, the Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri is optimistic, who expects today or tomorrow that the Ministry of Finance will give its consent to extend the contracts of the professors, which expired on December 31.

- Today, the last letters were sent to the Ministry of Finance. There are new rules of the Budget Execution Law and they have been acted upon. With the Law there is a change in the procedures between the institutions and this will be decided today or tomorrow. I expect a positive opinion from Finance, said Minister Shaqiri.

Since it is a relatively new high school that has been operating for only three years, the Ministry of Education and Culture will make efforts to ensure that the teachers engaged in the professional subjects of mathematics and informatics in the coming period receive solutions on an indefinite basis.

- I told the Ministry of Finance that we will fully provide funds from our side if it is necessary to extend the contracts of those employees. If possible during the year, we can ensure that they are not for a fixed period of time, but for an indefinite period. But it is a new high school, there is also work experience, added the Minister of Education and Science.

The classes that the high school students from MIG lose already in the second week of the second semester, will be compensated, believes the minister who today had coordination with the director of the high school.

- If there are eight professional professors and if it is only one week of two hours that they did not teach, it will be compensated in the period when they receive their consent. According to my information, the previous academic year, when the second semester started on February 1, the contracts of those employees were also extended from February 15. It was the same situation last year, but even though they didn't have contracts, they continued teaching, Shaqiri said.

High school students and their parents reacted to the problem with teaching in MIG, after they were left without teachers for the professional subjects that are only taught in this high school, which brought together talented students from all over the country in mathematics and informatics.

Today, the Union of High School Students made an appeal for a quick solution to the problem with teaching in MIG because "it is absurd that the students of this high school have only one to two hours a day".

- Due to the impossibility of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance to find a common solution, it is unacceptable that the students do not have classes for eight professional subjects in MIG. It is with regret that we state the situation in the high school, which was conceived as an elite educational institution for students talented in mathematics and informatics, reacted the Union of high school students.

On the other hand, students from MIG are seriously worried why they have already been announced tests for the subjects by the end of the month, despite the fact that they have not held a single class in the second semester.
